Pannon Business Network - later referred to as PBN - is a non-profit public body, operating in the form of association of 27 industrial parks and 6 clusters, in Western Hungary. PBN is financed by national, regional government and European Union. More than 800 companies, 3 universities are forming and shaping PBN, representing a strong concentration of economic power and prosperity. PBN is the key strategic economic development organization of
County Vas General Assembly. Ministry of Economics of the
National Government is the key partner for PBN in the
preparation of economic analysis and studies. PBN has vivid
co-operation with the Business Environment Department of the
Ministry of Economics.
PBN has implemented numerous projects both in Hungary, and with various countries of the European Union. Key projects are going on in ICT-cluster establishment - in the Vienna, Bratislava, Brno and Western Hungary area -, automotive engine development and in health-related ICT projects. Health is essential among the potential areas. China is the central focus point for PBN, since its establishment. PBN works dedicatedly to reinforce economic and business relationships with selected Chinese partners. PBN is proud to contribute to the establishment of sister-city relationship between Yantai and Szombathely, PBN has been member of national governmental delegations, PBN has an office in Beijing, and one finished scholarship in Shanghai, at Shanghai Construction Group. PBN realized the first labour-exchange program between China and Hungary, working in contractual relationship with the Chinese Ministry of Labour. In order to be customer-oriented and flexible, PBN has established the PBN Group, which is a consortium of companies, directly supervised by PBN. The objective of PBN Group is to provide full service for businesses, in a one-stop shop way. PBN has high qualified and motivated staff members. Our offices are located in Szombathely and Győr, the two largest cities of our region. We also have a partner office in Brussels and a colleague in Beijing, China. PBN is putting strong efforts to reinforce the relationship
within the European Union and with the rest of the world, in
order to help businesses to grow. |
