Prometis L.t.d. was founded in 1992 through the privatization of the University of Zagreb Institute for Transport Sciences which had almost 30 years of experience in research in different transport branches.

The main activities of the company are:

• transport planning,
• transport forecasting,
• traffic engineering,
• transport and traffic studies,
• road traffic counting and statistics,
• other activities: consulting, publishing, conferences and workshops organization, educational and other activities, mainly in road transport.

One of the major company’s project is project Traffic Count on the Roads of the Republic of Croatia, covering counts in almost 40 years, for execution of which the company have special equipment and software.

Transport studies of Croatian cities constitute important part of the company’s business as well as road traffic safety, transport systems and transport organization projects.
