RACE project has got three main objectives. It is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) spreading, SMEs focused dissemination and support, and cooperation with national and regional SMEs support oriented decision makers to establish an implementation framework. The project gives basic knowledge for their potential users on what is the RFID technology, how does that work, what are the best practices and use cases. RACE projects aims to bridge lack of information and experience with RFID and explains benefits for RFID potential users. RFID is for identifying and managing items processes. SMEs is the only directly supported subject in the project schema, because of low resources and large potential. It is possible to co-finance the company´s own capital resources and resources of the regional or national development. RACE also offers the framework, based on the UK case for political, organizational, technical and financial support. „RACE five minutes diagnostics“ is questionnaire for a consequential RACE expertise for yet RFID non-familiar potential users. |
